What is Pennant tennis?
The junior pennant league is a team based competition with matches at 8.30a.m. Sundays during school
term. There is a summer and winter season, with 10 matches, a semi and final per season. Each team is made up of
six players. Four of the six are rostered to play each Sunday. The team is of similar ability and where possible each
division is a similar standard. Each match consists of one singles and one doubles rubber for each player.
The summer pennant fee is $55. In order to represent the club you will need to be a junior club member for 2011/2012.
A basic level of tennis ability is assumed - scoring, serving and rallying.
Ages 10 -16. It's great fun and a sure way to
improve your tennis.
